About Fine Arts at Trinity Prep

Cultural Immersion
Our fine arts curriculum is designed to immerse students in the diverse world of art and culture. For example, our Spanish classes are much more than just language lessons—they’re a window into the vibrant cultures, histories, and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. Students engage in projects that blend language learning with artistic expression, such as culinary arts activities that combine cooking with cultural studies, giving them a deeper appreciation for the global community.
Art Shows and Community Engagement
Our commitment to the arts extends beyond the classroom. Under the guidance of our Fine Arts Director, Mrs. Smith, students have the opportunity to showcase their work in exhibitions, such as our annual art show at the Mint Museum in uptown Charlotte. Mrs. Smith, who has been a valued member of our faculty since 2013, mentors students in selecting and preparing their pieces for public display, helping them gain recognition for their creativity. Several of our students have even been accepted into prestigious art schools like SCAD, thanks to the strong foundation they build here at Trinity Prep.
