Athletics and Fun: Enjoy running with our two Belgian Mallinois boys, Tango and Loki, Retired Ironman Triathlete but still trying.

The restless and curious teacher of Literature & Histories, and Theater Arts
BFA- 1980, Carnegie-Mellon University. Competitive fencing in college. Certificate of proficiency as a stunt actor. Actor in multiple commercials, off and off-off Broadway shows, as well as national repertory theater productions. He is proud to have studied acting under Anna Deavere Smith, and clown with the great Merry Conway.
Acting roles in repertory include title role in “Othello”, leads in “Raisin in the Sun” and other Shakespearean productions, parts in daytime TV, including “As The World Turns”, as well as a Soap Digest Emmy nomination for best juvenile actor on “Ryan's Hope”. Credits in film and television include “In the Heat of the Night”. After also training at Charleston's Johnson & Wales, Mr. Poux was the owner of Divine Cupcakes & Yogurt cafe, voted Charlotte's Best cupcakes by Charlotte Magazine. Experience in education include years as an awarded director of a Sylvan Learning Center, and as a Teacher of ABA for students with autism, which evolved in education of English Lit and History, as well as coaching flag football and chess at his previous school. Still restless, and loving the culture and mission at Trinity Prep.
