Hands-On Learning at Trinity Prep
We believe that the best way to learn is by doing. That’s why our curriculum is built around hands-on, experiential learning. Students at Trinity Prep are encouraged to dive into projects that require them to apply their math, science and arts knowledge to real-world problems.
Life Skills – They learn to manage a schedule, break complex problems into workable tasks and prioritize challenges to best succeed. From practical fixes such repairing dry wall to building models with 3D printers to creating videos with green screen technology, our students engage in practical, project-based learning that brings abstract concepts to life.
The Fine Arts – Students learn to conceptualize and create Art by drawing, designing graphics on computers, molding objects from clay, and making delicious culinary delights for our students to enjoy. Students participate in Charlotte through art shows at several venues including the Mint Museum and local hospitals.
Mathematics and Science academic work is reinforced with hands-on practical laboratory experiments reinforcing learning and connecting theory with use in life.
Drama – play performances are built into the learning in practice culture. Students participate as actors, set managers, sound and light technicians giving them all an opportunity to build confidence, elocute beautifully, and learn about working as a team to succeed.
Finally on our TrinityPrep Connect and Dual Diploma programs can we add the marketing flyers that Julianna and Cielo created under these headings?
